How BestYard is Dealing With and Preventing The Spread of COVID-19?

During these unprecedented times, we want to let you know that we are taking every precaution necessary related to the COVID-19 outbreak

It is more important now; than ever before, to take care of one another and to help others in need, to appreciate the simple things in life that we tend to take for granted every day, and to reflect on what we are thankful for.

By doing so, we as a community and as a nation, will get thru this. If there is anything we can do to possibly lend a helping hand during these difficult times all of us are facing, we ask that you reach out to us.

Below are resources for you and info on what we specifically are doing to help prevent the spread while still being able to service our Client’s.

Resources To Help You

Public Safety

Above all, our largest concern is keeping our Client’s and our Team Members safe. We would never do anything to jeopardize the safety or wellness of our Client’s or our Team Members.

We are fortunate that our services do not require us to be in direct contact with our Client’s nor do our services require us to enter homes or businesses, or be in close contact with our Team Members. Given the nature of our work, we are able to maintain social distance unlike any other industry. This greatly reduces the risk of exposure and transmittal for both our Client’s and our Teams. Even though the risk is low, we are still following CDC guidelines.

Our Precautions

While recognizing our risk is low, we are still taking precautions above CDC guidelines and have implemented procedures specific to our needs to properly protect our Client’s and our Teams. Below are procedures we have implemented in addition to the general CDC guidelines.

  • Temperatures of Team Members will be taken at the start and end of each day.
  • Our team is extensively trained on recognizing COVID-19 symptoms and CDC recommendations on sanitary practices, social distancing, and masks.
  • Team starting times are staggered to eliminate the risk of a company-wide outbreak.
  • All trucks are equipped with hand sanitizer, disinfectant solutions, and wipes
  • Only one person to a truck, other team members will follow in their own vehicles and will be compensated for mileage.
  • High touch-points in trucks and on equipment will be wiped down frequently.
  • Each Team Member will have their own dedicated piece of equipment to work with.
  • Team Members will sanitize truck, equipment, and themselves at the start and end of each day.
  • We are urging all Client’s to not directly contact any Team Members while they are on site.

There are many other minor adjustments we are making but the above items will have the greatest impact in reducing the transmittal of this terrible virus.

All of our services, except for special landscape projects, can be priced online using our system without having to meet on site.

Office staff are working from home and there are no changes to the operation of the business, we are fully functional. When unable to answer your phone call directly, we ask that you either “Request A Quote” on our website or leave a voicemail. We will return your call promptly.

Our Services

In regards to Governor Polis’s executive order, released March 23rd, landscape services are interpreted as being an essential service as prescribed by the Department of Homeland Security CISA under the “Public Works” category with description of “Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences”

As long as this continues to hold true, and there is no further; more restrictive, order issued, we will continue to provide our services as usual.

We are in close works with the Association of Landscape Contractor of Colorado that has direct contact with the Governor’s office to gain further clarification on the executive order regarding any limitations in services (none foreseen) and to ensure the decision of being classified as “essential” remains unchanged.

Thank You

We appreciate your support as many of you have been our Client’s for many, many years. Your loyalty does not go unnoticed. We truly thank you and wish you all the best in the near future and beyond. We are very excited for the spring and summer season as you should be too. Soon, we will get back to our regular way of living and will have opportunities that we never realized were once possible.

Stay safe!
